A true family business, Revolution Enterprises was founded by three Hadzicki brothers in in 1988… Specializing in carbon fabrication, Revolution produces quality kite products, skateboards, golf shafts and a wide variety of other carbon and related products at their factory in Poway, CA.

All three Hadzicki brothers were inducted into the World Kite Museum Hall of Fame in 2010, and later recognized in 2013 with the David Checkley Lifetime Contribution award from the Kite Trade Association.


Joe Hadzicki

Having earned a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering at UCSB (University of Calif, Santa Barbara), Joe has developed and filed patents on several products from kites to bikes to industrial machines for the golf industry.

Creating a revolutionary kite design became his passion In 1987 which led to immediate recognition from the Kite Trade Association (KTAI) in 1988 with the Domina Jalbert award for Kite Innovation, as well as Best Manufacturer and Best New Kite awards in multiple succeeding years… While he has dedicated the majority of his time to engineering and and other projects, Joe was also a competitor in the late 80s and early 90s, going so far as to earn an AKA quad line championship title in 1990.

A founding board member of the Drachen Foundation, Joe is not only an avid Revolution kite flier but also enjoys kite buggy, kite surfing, skateboarding and paragliding in his free time.

David Hadzicki

David has been involved in kiting and teaching for 22 years and was instrumental in introducing graphite shafts to the kite world, even today Revolution is always in R&D to create better spars.

One component of a dynamic family business, David is proud to be part of a team that has earned various awards from the kiting community since Revolution Enterprises opened its doors in 1988.

Outside of the office, he spends most of his free time coaching sports for son Jake and the rest of my time supporting his daughter Jacklyn’s passion for dance.  Both are great Rev fliers.

Lolly Hadzicki-Ryno

A part of the business since its beginnings, Lolly is responsible for gathering aspects of kite business together and getting it out the door.

She started working with her brothers by making the old handmade end caps when Revolution Enterprises opened its doors and started traveling for the company around 1997, giving lessons on the “learn to fly” fields and helping the local kite shops in the evenings.

Involved in the Kite Trade Association (KTAI) since 1990, Lolly has held positions of President, Vice Pres, and Director in the organization… A key part of the support Revolution Enterprises gives to the kiting industry and community, Lolly was honored to be recognized with the 2011 KTAI David Checkley award for lifetime contribution by her industry peers.

Her non-kiting time is spent with husband Rich and daughter Alexandria Joy, they enjoy hosting parties and traveling kite fliers, and taking family camping trips.
