Hi everyone,

We had a great time in Gandia, Spain! It was our first international event (well, out of Portugal, anyway) and it could not have been better!

We were really disappointed when we left Lisbon - weather forecasts of heavy rains for the weekend - but the long drive (1000km!) was worth it! We had a perfect 25-30 kmh wind coming from the sea all day, and not a drop of rain! I was freezing in the afternoon, my hands were stuck to the handles and I could barely move my fingers, but couldn't stop myself from flying with all the spanish guys (and 2 brave girls ).

Bolau was great in assisting everyone with technical help, I think everyone learned something, and Pedro & Esteban did a great job in keeping it all together and happy!

Hope to be there again next year!

Absolutely, my friend, it has been great flying with you guys, truly inspirational.

I think next year there will be a festival at Alcochete once again, and Moledo - according to the guys in organization - is supposed to take place somewhere in May. We'll have to wait and see.

A local TV station was there on Sunday to capture some moments of the festival. Unfortunately there was no wind on that day (as mentioned before by others) to show kites on TV, so they had to show the faces of the fliers instead ...

We had a great time at this year's festival! Saturday was great, on Sunday there was no wind, but still one of the best festivals I've been to (not that many I admit...)
