I've used this to take them on airplanes.  Not one gives it a second look.

#95069 Difference between EXP and B-Series

Posted by swannie on 11 June 2014 - 05:19 PM

My two cents from someone who's been flying semi-regularily for about two years.  I've never flown an EXP, but I do have an SLE that I'd usually fly with the thinner 3-wraps (not the SLE).  I can tell a difference between my SLE and the way my various B series kites fly.

That said, I couldn't tell you exactly WHAT that difference is, other then they feel ... different.  It's a good different, but my skills aren't anywhere near the point where I could detail it.  ... or probably fully appreciate it for that matter. :)

#92682 Supersonic sail "bunching up" on LE

Hi all,

I've flown a 1.5 SLE for about a year now and just recently bought a Supersonic vented. I've only had it up a handful of times so far, but a couple times recently when I'm done flying I've noticed that the sail is "bunched up" in the middle of the leading edge. My first thought is that the bungies on the ends of the leading edge need a little tightening, but since this kite is brand new I figured I'd check with the experts before this n00b attempted such an adjustment. :)
