About Me
I got my first Rev (a Rev II) in either 2007 or 2008 at Kites Fly'n Hi in Charleston, SC. After watching The DVD of the Hadzicki brothers in their finest late 80's apparel give basic flying instruction, I headed out to a great beach on Sullivan's Island to fly it. I managed to put it together correctly (vertical spars behind the sail on the first try unlike some really good flyers I've talked to). That twitchy little deuce was all over the place, but I finally figured it out somewhat and oh man was I hooked. I've added a few more to the collection over the years, and damn it's still an absolute thrill. I'll fly anything no matter the number of lines, but Rev's are my favorite. They are my Zen, my ability to escape to being just me, the wind, and the kite.
