In Topic: Casual Rev Clinic: April 14-15

Had a great time at the clinic - John and Spence were super patient with us beginners. It was my 10 year old son's first time flying a Rev and now he's hooked. It was really helpful having someone checkout our equipment and tell us what we were doing wrong. I have a Supersonic that I've been flying (poorly) for the last 10+ years. John pointed out that I had the spars on wrong - had them on the front side instead of the back. The spars really didn't seem to fit that way, but the kite sure flew a lot better! Anyway, it was really useful to have John and Spence help us work out the kinks. I'd highly recommend going to a clinic with them - their passion for flying kites really comes thru.

The only negative thing about the weekend was having them actually fly my kites. Now I no longer have a scapegoat to blame - the kites fly just fine, the problem is the operator:kid_brooding: Oh well, guess that just means I need to spend more time on the beach!
