The kite in that video is a Rev 1.5 SLE (http://www.revkites.com/kite-product/revolution-sle-standard). This particular model would have been made some time around 2003-2010ish. I don't think the newer 1.5 SLEs come with the mylar panel or in those colors any more, but I'm sure you can find one. If anything you can always custom order it.
I'm not too sure about UK retailers, so I'll let someone from across the pond chime in on that one. -

For me, this was like going from a small bicycle with training wheels to the Space Shuttle. I was a computer programmer for a bank in the 60s, before real time processing, CRTs, and disk drives, when computers took up a whole room, needed a controlled environment, and a power sub station just outside the building. True story.
I got on Lynn's phone plan, so got the "good guy" price. She will get her iPhone on Monday when her upgrade time rolls around.
I just read this entire thread, and can see that lots has happened with these devices in the last three or four years.
Lots of learning to do, lots of "mousing around", and have been up until midnight most every night.
What a blast!
Yea, I upgraded to an iPhone 4 from a generic Motorola flip phone around the time of the 4S release. Such a difference. I don't even care about the apps so much as being able to be online from anywhere. It definitely gets used. -
In Topic: Trying to see if stretching has occured

On the bottom tips in particular. I have attached a couple photos (one of each bottom point) Is this normal? Over-reacting? Need to adjust knots? If so, is there a proper procedure?

All sails to stretch over time, and will need to be tightened. Even every new factory rev should have the bottom bungees tightened by about half an inch. When the sail is too loose, the kite will not hold as much power. The tell-tale sign that the bottom bungees need to be tightened is that the bottom end caps will stick out from the trailing edge to form a point. You want the end caps to be within an inch of where the sail ends. This is a quick fix by simply tying a new knot on the bungee, and cutting off the excess. Remember to take a lighter to the cut off edges of bungee so it won't fray. -

SkyPuppet, on 06 May 2012 - 08:27 AM, said:I'm not the biggest fan of 50# line - ok so I downright don't like it, concerning Rev flying anyways. However, I have a 75 ft. 50# line set that is just sitting around, gathering dust, and I'm looking to re-purpose it. I have the Indoor Rev, the Zen, and a full suite of Bs, along with a small glider and a dualie trick kite.
What do you think would be the best way to divide up a 50# 75 ft. line set? Ex. make it into a 50 ft. and a 25 ft? A 40 ft. and a 35 ft? A 25 ft. a 30 ft. and a 20 ft??? Please chime in with the lengths you would make and why.
Thanks for your suggestions!
Are you looking to fly indoors at all? If so, you may want to go with some real shorties like 10 or 12' as an option. Outdoors, my favorite short line set is 30'. Also, remember that some of that line will be consumed by tying new loops, so don't expect to have the length of your new line-sets to add up to 75'.
