Generally I have just put the kite together and left it that way overnight. Takes most of the wrinkles out. Unless you want two vented revs I would keep the iron away.

Hey, my name is Jesse Kapsten. I have been flying kites for about 20 years I am from Gloucester, MA and recently graduated from Daniel Webster College with a associates degree in Aviation Operations. I am now a member of the class of 2013 at Bridgewater State University. I am majoring in Aviation. After I graduate I hope to become a Certified Flight Instructor and ultimately plan to fly commercially, hopefully for my own chatter operation.
