#95368 Anybody flying with tails?

Posted by mbro on 06 September 2014 - 06:23 PM

I have several tails I've made from Tyvek, 35'x1" and painted to match my kites, I use Velcro dots and put one right in the middle,

Kids love chasing the tail at the park, and if they catch it no worries, pulls right off. smile.png

#95090 ? on old rev

Posted by mbro on 16 June 2014 - 06:34 PM

Just acquired a T300? Is that a rev1? still got the clips on the bridle and hog rings in the end caps! hasn't been flown much sail is still crisp. I guess my question is can you buy new bridles for these? Also will regular endcap replacements

work on this. I scored big on this deal, the Rev, 5 foils(never flown one), 3 slks, and a big Peter Powell dualie for 50.00, couldn't pass it up all in great shape. Thanks in advance for the info.

#85783 Trying to get permission to use facilities?

Posted by mbro on 26 December 2011 - 02:00 PM

Sky, I haven't gotten into indoor"yet". But, have you tried different place besides the "Y", Indoor soccer fields? A lot of schools have large gyms, as well as a lot of churchs, have indoor rec facilitys. Just a thoughtPosted Image

Hey Sky, When I bought my LEDs I purchased the 10mm, BIG things, I can't remember what viewing angle they had but it seemed small to me, I read somwhere that the rounded end of the LED is what determines viewing angle! so I experimented with grinding the round edge off a little at a time to widen the view area, all of mine are flat now and much brighter viewing angle, something to play withPosted Image
