Hmm, interesting idea. Anyone done this before?

I was considering driving down 'til I noticed today it may actually be cheaper to fly down, but then you have to deal with the hassle of packing up the kites into something the airlines will accept, renting a car, etc. I'm still not sure which might be easier/cheaper.

Another thought is to ship your kites to Dave (714-642-4996) and have him ship them back after KP

Wow, glad to see I'm not the only one. My GF thinks I have hoarding issues when it comes to kites, heh.

Sorry to dredge up an older thread, but this got me thinking.  I'm curious to try this with my SuperSonic, Blast and Super Blast.. or maybe even the SS, 2x Blast, and SB, although that might be a little crazy.

Was anything upgraded on the first kite (bridle, LE, etc.) to handle the additional stress?  I'd be afraid the SS would break apart using the stock parts under that much load.

Anyone else tried this?
