In light winds it is nearly impossible to break anything, 2 wraps rarely ever get broken unless they are flown in winds that are stronger. That being said, 4 wraps always take the most severe abuse because they are always flown in the strongest winds. The kite is alway flying its fastes as well, meaning that when it contacts the ground or other objects, the impace is more severe. We sell more 3 wrap and 4 wrap replacement rods than 2 wraps.
Well, that sure makes sense. ![]()
Stronger Winds + Fast Speed = Severe Impact (BIGGER CRASH)

Rained sideways that day, 42 degrees, 35 mph gusts.
Hmm! You had my attention, right up to that point, and then I remembered, that this story began, back in February. That just doesn't sound like fun (IMHO)! Everything else does, but I'll have to continue my treks up to Corolla, during the warmer months, which "I HOPE", is going to be early next month......... ![]()

The first good day of flying that I've ever had without being at a beach. We'll see what it's like when the leaves come in, but for now...Yeehaw
Hey Barton,
Have you been to Corolla yet.........and if so, how was it ?
Speaking of Yeehaw...........this is just down the beach
, a mile or ten !

Check some of the dual line sets out there for colored sleeves, I know I'm not the only one with fluorescent colored sleeves.
All of my sets are "Lime" and "Pink"...................that's pretty colorful ![]()
