Many Thanks. I shall give it a go.

We use super glue gell to repair holes in the sails, it is a little more flexibility. It might work on the mesh too.

Many of us have been trying various methods of videoing our flying. Some have attached cameras to a cap, others to a kite.
I found these, and gave us an early Christmas present.

    I got them here.

I understand that they are available at REI, but have not checked that out.

We went to the park yesterday and gave them a try. This was our first try. I neglected to raise my head high enough when the kites were high in the sky. Easy to correct. Due to the preset camera resolution, the files are very large, but can be converted to other formats and made smaller. When that is done, the picture is not as crisp, but still very good. Here is a clip of our first try. This clip is at the higher resoulution, so I made it only 30 seconds.

Thanks for the "heads-up" Jim (pun intended) and might i complement you and you good lady on some great flying!

Great, thanks all for your replies.

It sounds like a very happy Rev family.

Yep, I'm slightly scared of becoming a Rev widow!

I'm sure we'l be popping to Blackheath soon. I suspect I have very little talent and potential in kite flying though...

Cheers again guys, that's all really useful.

Clo, you will find that most of the top teams around the world have at least 1 female pilot. It's not a strength based skill so don't right it off until you try. Of course if you live in California or Southern France then the good weather and sunshine make it a little easier!

Sorry we didn't stop for a chat. We were working on the new routine and were in a groove and didn't notice the time flying by. Still, the Rev looked great and if you flew in that wind you were doing well.

Bob is a great coach so you were in good hands.

I am fairly sure that we could provide 6 to 8 people subject to the usual provisos. We might stretch to 12 if we were all available but work with 6 for now.
