Looking for videos of flying split screen showing hands

19 August 2009 - 11:47 AM

Anyone know of any video's showing the revolution flying that also shows the hands of the pilot? I think this would helpful to see both what the kite is doing and the pilot.

Thanks in advance.

Confucius say

28 July 2009 - 09:20 PM

I learned some valuable lessons today and I thought I would post them as Confucius sayings so that others may learn from them and get a laugh. If you have any lessons you have learned I would love to hear them, so I don't have to learn them the hard way.

Confucius say don't fly at the edge of the wind when the wind is gusty
Confucius say especially over a two line pilot
Confucius say do apoligize to two line pilot

Revolution conspiracy/bseries night experience

23 July 2009 - 07:51 PM

I finally think I have figured it our, REV makes great kites and the more you buy the more you want, I think it's a conspiracy for us to buy kites.

I flew the BSeries night vented for the first time today. The REV pro's were impressed (with the kite not me :) It was a great time and I really felt the difference between a bseries vented and an exp. Now I think I need one more kite for a bseries night non vented.

My skills are getting much better I can even hover upside down, can't fly up very well but learning.

One last thing the Bseries revs stall much better then the EXP's. I felt like I could recover from a stall with the bseries with the EXP you just sit back and wait for the action to finish during a stall.

Thank you all very much, I love this hobby and my wife loves the fact I am willing to drive an hour to go to Santa Cruz now.

P.S.
<------- That's my 2 year old son and me flying the rev exp in Santa Cruz, he loves it.

REV EXP upside down?

11 July 2009 - 11:08 PM

Is the REV EXP a poor kite upside down? The reason is I continue to have stalling issues when flying upward inverted.

I had a great weekend flying this weekend, I flew both days until I was sore about 5 hours total.

Funny story: 2 year old helps dad with lines

06 July 2009 - 12:47 PM

I wish I had a picture of the lines but I was laying out my lines and just as I reached my stake my 2 year old realizing that I left the end of my lines down by my kite; grabs them and brings them back to me. The worst part is when my son gets tangled in the lines he starts doing this two legged kicking dance (I need to get video of this). Well needless to say it took me about 30 minutes to get the lines untangled, during that time I couldn't help but laugh.

Hope you enjoyed the story.
