I started flying kites in 1988, started with a dual line basic stunter, got into team flying with "parallax error" here in Australia.
Got a rev II, one of the first here in Adelaide, I loved it soo much that later moved on to a Rev 1.5 once they were on the market ..poor thing needs retired and replaced the fabric has gone a bit soft and pourus, colours were vivid pink and blue now faded..ha ha but i still love it and fly it when i can.
After meeting Ben at our festival in Adelaide and he commented not quite so favourably.."you need to retire that thing and get a new one"...He is right and i will soon..ha ha...
I also have a large UFO, made by Kevin Francis and a large Orca Whale, plans by Phil McConachie.. as well as a multitude of other kites. My husband and I also buggy..we just dont kite surf, too many sharks down under.
