    So for example, we're leaving for WSKIF on Wednesday, returning home the following Monday meaning Laurel will miss 4 days of school. I know it's worth it. You know it's worth it. The question is, how can we justify it to the school so they will accept those days as "excused" absences?

    At WSKIF there are whale bones and the world kite museum. What else? Anything that will work for all kite festivals?
