Well I don't know about North Dallas, but I will be moving to Arlington soon. I fly 1.5's though.

Arlington isn't that far.  When you get in town,  we'll have to get together and fly sometime.  There seems to be NOBODY else around here.

Look at the label on the spars. If it says "ultra light," then you've 3-wraps. If it says "revolution equipped," then you've 4-wraps. If it says "professional use only," then you need a refund.

I only have a Blast and no other REV to compare it to. I also don't know how many wraps any of my spars are. How do you tell?

Is South Padre Island a doable trip for you? There is a big festival there, including a Rev Clinic, the end of January; (in case you missed the thread).

Try to have the sail lying flat on the ground, leading edge into the wind, with a little bit of string overlap. You can always use your knee to keep it down as you're getting the strings attached. Once attached, it would be best if you learned how to do a reverse launch. Do you own or have you seen any of the Revolution instructional videos?

ps. This certainly won't be your last Rev! LOL!

So I'm guessing set it up leading edge towards the wind,  lines already crossed,  then reverse launch,  spin around and off we go?

I have reverse launched (Not from the initial setup) when I brought it down leading edge first.  It comes up nicely.   What do you think is TOO MUCH wind for the Blast?  Its 23 mph outside right now.  I want to go fly but better judgement is saying no.
