#89124 WSIKF 2012 (REV FIELD)

Posted by LS Kite Stakes on 19 July 2012 - 05:00 PM

I will second the rev sticks, it will help IMMENSELY with learning the routine. I really recommend FMRS/GMRS radio with a headset. Only callers need transmit capabilities, and having one with a bug in your ear will make flying in team much easier. Brett had a setup where he played the music in his transmission while he called, made it easy to get the key points of the routine timed to the music.

Good Job Bri!!!! I will be there all week to help anyone with the routine, or even getting started flying along side others.

And if anyone needs a kite stake............ :sign_kitelife:

And the one no one mentioned.

The Revolution factory is up in the hills above San Diego, in a little place called Poway. I just CANNOT imagine not stopping by if you are in the area.........

#87260 Go Pro Camera Stake

I have added yet another new item to my lineup! Intruducing the Go Pro Camera Stake. This stake uses the Go Pro camera flat mount on one of my stakes so the camera can be positioned on the ground for those down low shots. A big Thank You to Jim Fielder for the idea! :sign_kitelife:

Leave the SLE at home, use it to stake the tomato's or other gardening chores. While at LC, ask JB his opinion on the subject............

Use the 3 wrap, the forecast this weekend looks perfect for it.

See ya there!

Well, no one else would post this event! iQuad, Island quad, Penny Rev, David Gomberg, Amy and Connor Doran, and many others will be there as will your truly. This year organizers are trying to put on a "official world record megafly" and are calling this years theme "Quad-Zilla". Sounds like Rev heaven to me!

#68051 100 Rev fly at 2010 WSIKF (Aug 16-22)

Posted by LS Kite Stakes on 05 April 2010 - 04:37 PM

Besides what has been said already, I am in this for the challenge! I am not completely comfortable in a team fly, and I really don't have the most stable hover. I am in this for the expierience, the fun, the fear, the sense of accomplishment, and the chance to be part of something never tried on this scale before. Forget the chance of flying with notables from around this globe, this is something any Rev flier cannot miss. Bart, you won't know it at the time, but flying with other fliers will improve your skills, and you will have a grin from ear to ear the first time you are in a 12 kite (4X3) grid. After that you will want more........
