I[m sorry I couldn't make it to the rev clinic this weekend. I couldn't find my birth certificate anywhere, haven't used it in 19 years. I went downtown to get a copy of it on Friday, but they closed at 4 o'clock, I was pissed! My own fault for waiting til the last minute. I know I missed out big time.

I would like to send you a check to pay for my spot on the list.
Please e-mail me the address to send it to. I hope I will still be welcome at the next clinic, hopefully it will be in Washington, preferrably at Ocean Shores, or Edmonds beach maybe. But in the meantime, I'm going to get a passport. I just don't leave the country very often, but at least I will be prepared next time.

As long as you are not flying into the country, no passport is needed, just a birth certificate and some photo id, like a drivers license.

It's Ginger, did anyone find out for sure if you need a passport to get into Canada? And also, does anyone have a rev to loan out for the weekend, I've only flown a rev for a total of five minutes in my life.

And if so, which of these two locations... Portland OR or Victoria BC?

There's better wind and scenery at Clover Point in BC, but the field is a quite a bit smaller, able to fit maybe 12-14 in a mega fly there, maximum.

In Portland, we run a higher chance of getting some light wind / no wind clinic time, the wind is a bit more turbulent, and the field is significantly larger than Clover Point... Probably fit 30-40 pilots, to give an idea of size.
