Now that's the perfect place to fly some red, white,& blue revs. Ok, here's my question, what kind of ground stake does one use on a flight deck of a carrier? A big magnet? -

Hello John, don't worry about the weight. Stack whatever you can. I fly a 3-stack of B's (full vent, mid, std). All are framed with 3-wraps. Just make sure that the last kite "leans" back just a bit more than the first two. This should reduce the wobble that you may get. My link lines are about four and a half feet.
Check out the G W T W 2012 calendar, Dec. That pix was from last years Kite Party 9 with J eepsters 6 stack. -

Field test #1: Have her take a break from flying each day at a set time (say 1:00pm - 1:30) to measure the tides - to determine if there is a correlation between the average distance the waves come up on shore to the total amount of sail area being flown in area C at the start of the set time period.
Field Test #2: At the single line kite area - calculate the total length of line used each day and see how many of that total length it would take to reach to the moon.
Field Test #3: How many surface grains of sand in a square inch - a square foot - Area C - Long Beach
field Test #4: go fly a kite - enjoy being on the beach - be the caller in a mega fly (easy on the Pez) - get your feet wet - BE A KID!

here's a blank template I made that you can use with your favorite image editor to fill in your colors.

Hello Ant, the videos were worth the wait. Awesome job!
Just glad you got vid of my 3-stack before the #3 kite center rod snapped.
note to self: check ALL frames to make sure what each kite has BEFORE launching.
