100 kites is cloudy as it is, the more it's cross-examined, the better off we'll be in the long run. ![]()

WAY oversimplified, but putting the kites aside for a moment (different set of references - as outlined in earlier images)... I rounded up a bunch of plastic parachute men for an example of an 8x10 grid on the ground so that we can get a good idea at what we're looking for in terms of body positioning on the ground.
It's NEVER exact, but in theory, if everyone has their thinking cap on (see video below), the caller uses using an open tempo of commands and we have 3-4 wranglers on the ground to help guide folks into place, we should be in fairly decent shape.

The new colorizer is complete, serious upgrades done by Spence "Watty" Watson!

My favorite new feature is the "Share" function, which will send you a tidy URL that makes reviewing and sharing your design a breeze!
Example of a shared design URL...

Cheers, enjoy!
#92124 is dyneema line ok
Posted by Kitelife
on 18 March 2013 - 11:57 AM
Aye, to mirror what Kent said in different words...
Dyneema will absolutely work for solo flying - but you might notice a little more stretch (bounce) in the lines while flying, and likely can't twist as many times without locking up as you would with a high quality spectra line line LaserPro Gold... There is a major difference in performance, but one isn't likely to notice it until they've gained basic control over the kite.
That being said, line compatibility when flying with others is a very real concern and just makes good clean sense to use something comparable.
All it takes is one good team twist at a hard angle, and someone can become "the guy who cut 3 complete sets of $70 lines". ![]()
#92078 Never used music. Am l missing out?

I almost always fly with music when I'm solo... Much prefer Pandora or the radio though, because of the randomness of the music, it catches me more in the moment... If I play my iPod list, no matter how many tracks or how randomized, it never surprises me with a boost of energy like unexpected tracks do. ![]()

Utterly different animals, no comparing or replacing possible.
Supersonic is FAST, super high acceleration on a much higher scale than the B2 or Rev II, which are simply quicker by size but still exhibit "traditional" Rev precision... The Supersonic is a wily creature, very difficult to fly precisely, but a unique ride all it's own.

Clear correlation with performance, imho...
The Hadzicki family broke the mold when they came up with the traditional Rev shape (Rev I, 1.5, II). ![]()
