HIP HIP HOORAH

What can be said that hasn't been said already?

Ben is like the perfect balance of sweet and salty, tough dawg with a nougat center, all rolled in kite goodness.

#93345 Revolution 25th Anniversary - 100 strong at WSIKF! (Aug 19-24, 2013)

Posted by Kitelife on 06 August 2013 - 07:48 AM

We have field B all week, directly south of the main demo field and probably a whopping 500-600 feet from the porta potties. ;)

IMPORTANT FYI:

I've been speaking with Kay from the World Kite Museum to make sure our schedules don't conflict again... Please BE ADVISED - the Red, White, & Blue Mass Ascension is scheduled from 10:00AM to 12:00 PM on Thursday.

To be exquisitely clear, field B is off limits for us until noon on Thursday - Mass Ascension has the right of way until then. ;)

Thanks for your help and cooperation!

#93095 What's your favorite time to fly?

Posted by Kitelife on 20 June 2013 - 12:36 PM

Seriously, I've had so many "best" moments flying at all times of the day, in different places...

They're all my favorite.

Have kite and energy, will fly. :)

#93093 Crossed over to the dark side.

Posted by Kitelife on 20 June 2013 - 12:23 PM

Welcome to the dark side Konfuzion. smile.png

Don't forget the other kites, I like to keep one toe in pretty much everything...

The more you fly, the more you'll know. smile.png

Full list of KL Rev tutorials...

Reading your posts above, I'm guessing these subscriber tutorials might really clarify some things...

Apologies, more than half our tutorials are free on YouTube but a few (like those above) are only available to KiteLife subscribers.

One way or the other, Rev fliers make up an awesome community and you'll keep finding more and more fun things to do with your new kites. smile.png

Cheers and good winds!

A good contrast can be seen in Watty's 'Friendly Neighbourhood Street Flyer' video

#93038 Street line length

Posted by Kitelife on 12 June 2013 - 07:42 AM

The standard I've set for street or urban flying is 30'... Long enough to fly "track" (shapes, etc) but short enough to tow it around 360s and stay connected with line tension.

12'-15' is more tailored to indoor due to the low overheads, but really cuts down the "window" in terms of demonstrating shapes, etc.
