By the way, do you know that you almost never turn to your left? Maybe that's just a function of feeling cramped.
Thats the coolest thing about these kids. They were utterly unimpressed and nonchalant haha. Not worried about me flying too close for comfort. Adults may be a different matter.
Yeah I do realize the biased-ness of my flying. When forced with such tight constraints, I'll tend to stick to be safe. Been right handed, I do my 360s much more reliably left to right while reverse flight right to left. Its all subconscious though

Just thinking about this, has anybody managed or tried to setup a radio system using some Walkie Talkie Apps on the IPhone?
Thanks

Thanks John. Still awaiting more of your indoor tutorials. Been trying to do that "helicopter" type move you did where you put the kite at the zenith and just spin round and round. Slowly getting that but success rate is still quite low.

In Topic: Line give
Posted 15 Dec 2011
I'm slowly giving up on 50# for quad lines for outdoor. For indoor, I used to fly 50# but don't find much difference when switching over to 90# so I'm on 90# mostly nowadays anyway. One thing I did notice though (not sure if its just my lines) is that with 50#, multiple line twists causes more friction compared to 90#. Anybody experienced that as well?

In Topic: Video, video, video, and it's going to be good.....
Posted 10 Dec 2011
Whew! Better late than never...finally managed to finish my submission for the Rev Video contest just on the deadline itself - Dogstaking a Rev with BOTH the kite and the flier in the water...
I'll get to sending the video clips over to Ben on Monday ASAP. What postal address do I mail the CD to? I'll just throw in the raw video files on top of the completed video..as the quality is a bit better.
Enjoy
