Revolution Kites is heading to the World Changers Gala 2012

28 August 2012 - 07:11 AM

We are excited to share the news that Connor has been invited to perform at the 2012 World Changers Gala in Washington DC on Sept. 12, 2012. The event will take place at the Thomas Mellon Auditorium, which is this incredible historical building with pillars.. and history.. lighting etc. (gulp)
We have just heard from one of the members of Congress that has offered to show us around the capital building. (maybe we can sneak in a kite).
Thanks for all the good feedback from everyone and the support. We love our rev family and it truly makes a world of difference to get the words of encouragement at WSIKF.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at the Frank Mots Festival before we head to DC!. Safe travels to all heading out to AIF and Mots!

Revolution and Connor Doran Support Chelsea's Gala

19 February 2012 - 11:41 AM

Attached File  chelsea add rev site.jpg   782.91K   55 downloadsA big Thank you to Revolution Kites for supporting the Chelsea Hutchison foundation Gala on May 3, 2012 in Denver Colorado.
Connor will be speaking and flying that night to support S.U.D.E.P. Awareness and Epilepsy Awareness. SUDEP (Sudden Death in Epilepsy Patients)  is a condition that they are discovering is much more common then originally thought.
Chelsea Hutchison was only 16 when her life was taken by a seizure that occurred while she was sleeping. Even though Connor was diagnosed with epilepsy when he was 4 years old, I have just recently been made aware of this condition.  The Chelsea Hutchison foundation helps provide seizure alert dogs, and sleep monitors for children and adults with epilepsy. Chelsea's family started the foundation after the loss of their daughter to help others become more aware of the condition. Chelsea had been seizure free for a while when this happened.
We are pleased to be a part of this fundraising event, and are honored that the Revolution family is joining forces.
