Flying Revs at Altitude

Hi gang,

Checking in again.

Had a few weeks with my EXP now. Love it. Been battling with gusty winds, but yesterday had some terrific steady wind around 5 - 6 mph and I really got to see what the kite (& I) could do instead of my constant over-corrections in gusty conditions!

Anyway, my flying spot is located in Park City, about 7500 feet above sea level. Just wanted to see if anyone else is flying as high as me? :rolleyes:

Dear Forum,

Just thought I would check in & say hello.
I purchased a Rev EXP this week (arrives today!) & I will be out for my first flight experience later today.
The last kite I flew was a Peter Powell stunt kite in '76 - '77 when I was in the UK. Yes, what an old duffer!

After seeing a chap flying a smaller foil last week, I thought I would dip my head into the modern kite world. I was indeed blown away! I thought, yeah lets get a Rev Blast, but was advised that the EXP was a far better way to go for an essentially complete novice!

I'm located in Utah (Park City area)...are there any Rev fliers out here interested in meeting & helping me up the learning curve? Later this year I'm relocating to Portland, OR, which I believe is more of a Rev mecca?
