HELL YES
Let's do it!

Just went out and found this location!! Wasn't there a New Years fly there 15 years back or so? I remember going when my son was younger and before my stroke (1999)! Wind was OK but most didn't have light - wind gear back then!! Many struggled to fly, a few dualies, and 1-2 quads, don't remember exactly TOO LONG AGO!! Be nice to set one up for this year!!

This (next) year however, there is a fair chance TK and I will be going to spend New Years in San Diego with Ben.

We've been out there on New years for the past 2 years, rain and all.

AW SHUCKS!! No, really have a great time, if you go!! Maybe some of the local flyers will still go there this year! Any info on the Westport event? Would like to go - at least for one day. Don't know anything about where, parking or anything else!!

Just show up, pick an open spot and fly.
We won't be there this year, too much to do before Brookings next weekend.

Westport is fun, nice event... Parking is on the beach, no permit needed.

Would have liked to have gone - but 200 miles each way is a bit of a stretch for me, especially if it's for only one day!! Have to find some locals who will put up with my lack of skills, but how else will I get any??

Great show though, if you like watching and hanging out.
I'll be out at PIR eventually, I generally post here and Kitelife when I do as well.

It is actually a 2 day event, but there's no room for the general public to fly... Strictly enough room for the performers.

I meant that I could go only for one day!! TOO FAR for me to go! Spent Sat. aft. at a local school yard and flew both my vented 1.5 and 1! Flew both on the same line set 90#x80'. Had fun, will go again and again and again-------- On another note does Revguild need your credit card# or can it be mailed or called in?? Don't trust giving my # over the internet if I can avoid it!!

The club can however take cash or check at WSIKF, as Terry Wiggill (from Island Quad) is our treasurer and can take such payments back to Canada with him for deposit.

PayPal, debit or credit card only I'm afraid... It's a small club, club bank account is in Canada, checks and cash are just a bit inconvenient.

Well, there is more to this, that sounds good, if I don't buy anything new between now and then!! Want to use the discount on stuff I want!!
