Aye, will probably have TK with me at Delta on Sunday, starting mid-morning... Hope to see you!

Will be training at another undisclosed and far more difficult location on Saturday. :D

Tiny pockets of blue peeking through...

It wants to be a nice day, really...

Will see what happens over the next couple of hours. :)

We'll have a 4-person squad practicing at Delta Park this weekend... All day Saturday, most of Sunday morning.

Joji Davis, TK Barresi, Dave Bradley and myself... Hope to see a few more of you there! :)

Sorry, I had to bow out. I was not going to take chances with the winter weather predicted for the PDX area. I hope to catch you at the next one!

Ya... With wind being ever so fickle, we bailed on Delta Park and went down next to the Saturday Market for short line flying yesterday instead. :)

I was thinking of showing also, but had too much other stuff to do.
Any thoughts for a New Years day fly?

Just went out and found this location!! Wasn't there a New Years fly there 15 years back or so? I remember going when my son was younger and before my stroke (1999)! Wind was OK but most didn't have light - wind gear back then!! Many struggled to fly, a few dualies, and 1-2 quads, don't remember exactly TOO LONG AGO!! Be nice to set one up for this year!!

We've been out there on New years for the past 2 years, rain and all. :)

This (next) year however, there is a fair chance TK and I will be going to spend New Years in San Diego with Ben.

AW SHUCKS!! No, really have a great time, if you go!! Maybe some of the local flyers will still go there this year! Any info on the Westport event? Would like to go - at least for one day. Don't know anything about where, parking or anything else!!

Westport is fun, nice event... Parking is on the beach, no permit needed.

Just show up, pick an open spot and fly. :)

We won't be there this year, too much to do before Brookings next weekend.

Would have liked to have gone - but 200 miles each way is a bit of a stretch for me, especially if it's for only one day!! Have to find some locals who will put up with my lack of skills, but how else will I get any??

It is actually a 2 day event, but there's no room for the general public to fly... Strictly enough room for the performers.

Great show though, if you like watching and hanging out. :)

I'll be out at PIR eventually, I generally post here and Kitelife when I do as well.

I meant that I could go only for one day!! TOO FAR for me to go! Spent Sat. aft. at a local school yard and flew both my vented 1.5 and 1! Flew both on the same line set 90#x80'. Had fun, will go again and again and again-------- On another note does Revguild need your credit card# or can it be mailed or called in?? Don't trust giving my # over the internet if I can avoid it!!

PayPal, debit or credit card only I'm afraid... It's a small club, club bank account is in Canada, checks and cash are just a bit inconvenient.

The club can however take cash or check at WSIKF, as Terry Wiggill (from Island Quad) is our treasurer and can take such payments back to Canada with him for deposit. ;)
