I've done some damage to one of my neck vertebrae which has trapped the nerves that connect with my right arm. Lots of pain and numb fingers right now but it's on the mend slowly. However it has seriously jeopardised my kiting plans for the future - perhaps permanently. Certainly no more high wind heroics like at Dunstable. I've had problems in this area of my neck previously but not as bad - I guess I need to take notice this time.
Sympathy, flowers, grapes are welcome

It's been too long since we saw you, but so sorry to hear of your injury. Do hope you recover soon and that your rev days return. Wouldn't want to lose such a good flyer from the scene.
Best wishes,

It was a pleasure to meet you at Dunstable this year. I sincerely hope this is all just an inconvenience and you'll be flying properly at Bristol.

I'm meeting up with Steve/pudsli during his visit to the glorious south west England next month. It would be fab if you could join us for a days informal Rev'ving on Weston-super-Mare beach. Saturday 19 April. The more the merrier!
PS - bring your own bucket and spade. Prizes for best sandcastle.
What a great day we had last Thursday 17th. April 08.
A big thanks to you Steve (Pudsey) for a whole day of 'one to one' learning. And, I did learn a great deal. The ladder up and down. Finally getting to grips with the 'Snap'. And what about the onehanded flying! Never in a months of Sundays did I expect to fly with one hand - and keep it going for so long up for so long.
Yep, we had a good day despite the high winds and strong easterly gusts!
Sorry you were not able to make it David E.

Glad you chaps had a great flying day... and learnt loads.
I like doing ladders *up* but am struggling with ladders *down* at the moment.
Kind of panic going towards the ground from a static postition *;-/
