Sounds better and better.I'm thinking, if we do this, we might try to make it a 2-day affair...

I know it is in the week but there has got to be others out there who have the time off. And the Monday is a BH anyway.
Just think of the fun we had at Dunstable.
I know there is a payment for this but to a good cause.
Stephen and all the folks who helped with the UK weekend/s were FANTASTIC. But I am sure we will fly with them again some time, soon I hope.
When will you ever be able to fly with iQuad again unless you pay for a trip to US or wherever else thay are.

I'm talking to Dave @ Kiteworld UK about this clinic, they may end up helping with the local organization if this thing works out.

Scott - took it to the Japanese and showed what can be done, 3 /4 years after this picture the Rev scene in Japan was massive, with really good flyers
Carl - took it to Europe, was Euro cup winner and devloped a form of flying that the likes of Chris Goff now fly, and watch most videos of Euro flyers and you will see his influence
John - Winningest Rev flyer in AKA history, and took Rev team flying back to the US from his experience in Europe
And the thing is John, two of these people will be at Portsmouth, and as part of your clinic anyone can fly with one of them (maybe two?)
GREAT photo, very nostalgic... The photo was taken at 1993 World Cup in Berkeley (CA).

Scott was my role model in kiting, far and away... Pound for pound, relative to his era, the best flier in history, imho.
Busy as Carl gets, I'm not sure if he'll be actively involved in the clinic, but I'm sure he'll be there.
And yes, I think I can speak for Carl as well, that we heartily look forward to meeting everyone and sharing our experience with all comers!

Although it's not all set in solid stone yet, you can pretty much count on a clinic Monday after Portsmouth, same field...
Not sure about Tuesday at this point, since we won't have designated fields or crowd control.
I'm thinking an organized clinic on Monday, with a looser, more casual intermixing of skills and knowledge for Tuesday.

Awww Sailor, is that tingling brought on by all the wind in your ears ?Cool. So excited my ears are tingling!
We will seriously consider attending this, especially if it is on the monday at Southsea!
That's potentially 2 more for your list.
(if you can handle a complete novice (me, "C") and an intermediate flyer "G")

Unfortunately it was blisteringly cold with lots of snow. So all I got from the 'wind in my ears' was an ear infection. Also was very kindly given presents of chapped lips, a sore nose and a head cold. All followed by an unsecheduled 24 hour stop in bejing on my way home. Wanted to try flying in Tiananmen square and maybe even get the shots for the site, but the authorities saw me setting up and told me to hop it.Awww Sailor, is that tingling brought on by all the wind in your ears ?
However, and back on topic, I can asssure you that it really is the excitement at some top notch training that is making my ears tingle rather than the infection.
