I was there this past Sunday for the club fly. No one showed up to fly much. I guess the 16 mph winds and 36 degrees scared too many folks off. But I sure had fun with my Sonic Vented and Rev 1.5 vented. Flew for about an hour and a half before I decided it was a little too cool.
I'll be back in April. Maybe see you then.
Later, Doug

I haven't been out there much recently, but sad to say I won't be able to catch you out there in april because I am leaving from Iraq the first week of that month. Too bad you weren't going to be out there this weekend cause I'll be out there early sunday morning and I'll be out there all day.

Fort Macon is a great place to fly! I flew with you once several years ago when you were just getting into the Revs good.
Stop by the kite shop and ask Don, Jeri or Bret to hook you up with some of the "local" fliers. There are several down there that I know would fly with you. One I can think of comes down each Thursday weather permitting. And of course the regular Sunday morning fly.
I'd love to fly with you but I'm in the same boat as Doug (CLT)I won't be able to get back down there until April.

We'll be there (weather permitting) for the 10 am kite fly across from the fort.
I'll be there tomorrow. Maybe a little hungover because I am celebrating my birthday tonight but I will be there and so will my wife and friend. They are new to flying but the will enjoy seeing other Rev Flyers.
