This is to see if enough Flyer's are interested in coming to a Weekend training clinic for beginners,intermediate,advanced and team training.
JUST LIKE THE ONE ON THE WEST COAST.
Need input from all those interested as far as location,month and if you would like it to be a 1,2,or 3 day weekend.
Your help is greatly needed to get this up and running.
All your info will be used to determine if it is going to work.
Cost will be reasonable,and location/dates determined later.Depending on number of Family involved.

Leave your input Family it will be tallied and monitored.
Lets make it work :)

I would attend, since I need all the help I can get!!! For me, Ocean City or Wildwood would work and a 3 day weekend in May, June, or July would be best. I hope this goes, and it would be alot of fun.

Wildwood would be great for a location (really big beaches) It would be cool as a formal part of the wildwood kite fest. But I would love to get to go and see some other east coast areas. I would also think the time frame should be before the beaches get crowded with all the recreational beach goers.

Remember guys, if iQuad conducts this clinic, we'll need to fit into the existing schedule...

Two weekends in March are open, April is 100% taken, one weekend in May, one in June, two in July, August will be tough with the UK trip, September and October are also very busy... So March, May, June and July might be the best months for us, if we're involved. ;)

I might also suggest Nags Head, NC.

I believe that Ocean City, MD would have to be done either prior to Memorial Day or after Labor Day if we want to get any significant portion of the beach.

Clearwater, FL might also be good. If we do it in March, rates for hotels should be pretty reasonable.

It might be beneficial to consult with one of the Rev vendors on the east coast too, see if someone wants to get behind it.

If so, they should get in touch with me for the ins/outs of something like this.

Who are they? Don't know of a local kite dealer near me.

I voted. Prefer Liberty State Park but might make it to Wildwood if it is before summer.

I'd say talk to any reputable vendor on the east coast who is also a passionate kiter...

Jim Hodges (Sky Jewels) and Sherri Pigeon (Kitesville USA) are a couple names that come to mind.

For people like this, a Rev Clinic is a key opportunity to learn more about the product, develop customer relationships, and sell some kites.

Again, it should be someone who has a real interest in Revs, even if they don't fly full time.

Don't forget Hunter Brown at Blowing In The Wind in Wilmington, NC for the Cape Fear area. The Cape Fear Kite Fest in November would be a good place for a clinic. There's a lot of quad interest in the WACKOS.

well as you all know i voted for wildwood but the best areas for this would be liberty park and oc maryland as well .. it is nice to see the wildwood so far has the higest vote :sign_kitelife: i guess everyone loves those wildwood days :kid_content:

Wildwood would be great!!! The beach is soooo wide!!! Lots of room for everyone to fly. :w00t:
Also I'm sure people would love watching it from the boardwalk!!

I would TRY to be there, This is a great idea,
As the sun (warms) comes up FIRST on all fields in the east, the Revolutions will ascend in the 20th year of the most ultimate in flying machines!!
I started my year right, by flying in a freezing cold gale (25 plus) @ highnoon, New Years day and on Sunday, 01/06/2008 some team quad, with the FAMOUS (1994 AKA Masters (dualine) Team- National Champions) now flying QUAD TEAM (for FUN) ""HIGH FLYERS" Steve Santos, Sue Moskowitz and Dave Simpson at Brenton Point, Newport, R.I, all to ourselves, in a BALMY, 45 degrees and a 8 to 10 MPH southwest breeezze.... ohhhh! excuse me, I'm back.
ANYTIME,ANYWHERE,ANYHOW!!!
