Glad to hear a bus load of my homies will be attending the Clinic... man its going to be awesome..
I think we will be focusing on outdoor flying for the most part, learning the ins and outs of team flying and individual skills.
We may expand later in the future, but want to focus more on base skill for the moment.
See you Guys soon,
Will be home 1st week Feb.
Get ready for the indoor (Big GRIN)

I couldn't have been happier with the whole event, literally.
Little tweaks or additions for next year perhaps, but I think it went really well!
Yes, let's make it an annual event.

The clinic was fantastic! What a blast. The iQuad energy was really flowing.
During the morning talks, with the whole group gathered round, I would hear the pearls of wisdom that were timed just right for what I was ready to learn. During group flying with team members, it was a chance to learn some basic calls. The occassional one-on-one time with a team member was killer.
It was a laid back event, to be sure. At times, I missed a more formal structure. In the end, though, the true value of the clinic is in the results. When I arrived on Friday, I would not dare fly close to more than a couple people and never cross lines. By Sunday afternoon, I was able to fake it in a 17-person mega-fly. Good stuff.
I gotta give a shout out to the guys from Victoria, BC. What a helpful bunch of characters!
Can't wait til next year!

Wow! That's really great to see such a domo-mega-fly. And it looks like the spectators in the first photo were also suitably impressed.Yes folks, there be 30 kites in those pics!

However I would hope that we can extend a warmth of welcome and friendship to Iquad, and the other international visitors that we will have in the summer, that they will not forget.

I can't wait to show the guys one of my favorite festival sites.Well I am not sure southsea beach is really much of a comparison to the acres of sand in the pictures. And no doubt our weather will let the side down.

The Limey is coming home.
Can't wait. Bring on those wonderful summer nights!
