Hi,
Where are you going to be flying on News Year day?
Dennis and I are not sure yet. Each year on New Years day WOW
hosts a crazy hat day fly. It's so much fun!! :innocent:

What are you going to be doing in your area? Are you going to have

The San Diego Kite Clubs has a traditional fly every New Years day at Mission Bay, Mariners Point.

For years I celebrated New Years Day Kite flying in the very cold and sometimes with snow to my knees.
Last New Years Day I was in San Diego. It was sunny and warm all day. I would expect the same again this coming New Years Day.
Wouldn't it be nice to get away from the cold for a day of warm kite flying?

You bet! I'm flying out from Illinois to visit family in Orange County, CA. They already know they're watching the Rose Bowl without me. I'm gonna be flying in San Diego. See y'all soon!

On New Years day it is suppose to be a cold 67 F (19.5 C) and partly sunny in San Diego.
Wind forecast is ENE at 9 MPH. It might be a bit bumpy as it is from inland.

3 - 6 Celcius here forcast. Probably warmer than Germany! A few of us may be on Blackheath in the morning.

As for Bristol, there is a financial road block for me.
