Howdy Yall,

My name is John and I am such a Rev Newbie i haven't even got mine off the ground yet. I still need strings and It's hard to find a local kite shop around my way. The closest one is about 2hrs away. I'm going to meet someone at "Lighten Up" in Stone Harbor on monday. The guy is meeting me on his day off to help me out. I wonder if Antman knows him? Your forums are very informative I've been browsing through them trying to mentally download as much info as I can before I try to fly on my days off monday and tuesday. Well I just wanted to introduse myself, you sound like a great bunch of people. I have to be politically correct of course.

Antman is friends with lighten up kites,he's in the wildwood area.I myself am in the s.jersey area too.Many people to fly with,we just had our fall fly in wildwood today,check the forum.Happy flying.Were all here to help.

Hi Guys,

I'm new to the forum (first post) and i must say that just poking around in here you can get the best info! REall helpful to a newbie

I have had an EXP for a few years but after a lot of frustration i went back to my dual line Jester XS. However i had an outing about 2 months back where i took my EXP aswell, mainly to show off what it could do (those dive stops get my heart racing ) and the wind was perfect and i had the best time in ages. Since then i have flown it every night after work and on the weekends and i'm pleased to say it has all just clicked.

I'm now in the final steps of purchasing a blast (any advice would be greatly received on this matter)

So thanks for this forum and the advice that it contains

Hi Crawf.

For questions regarding a Blast, please go ahead and make another post... This way others can refer to it.

You could also try doing a search on the forum, for "Blast"... Lots of relevant info to be found.

What i was goin to say was that i did a search the other day (that much i guess you got huh?) and found a heap of info on the blast

but i suppose another post would give me a bit of direct info.

I'm very very new to this whole forum stuff so i guess i'll make more mistakes before i get the hang!!

I was real unsure about what this dog staking was all about so i found a discussion on that which cleared it all up.

I though there was just a dude standing near your kite!! I didn't realize that you were the dude standing near the kite and that you were flying it too!!! Did my mind a bit!!

I saw the werewolf one the other day and it took a minute to realize the wolf was flying the kite. So you can teach an old dog new tricks.
