I like the top row designs! :D

Anyone know what the 2008 Rev colors will be?

ps. If I don't get to the forum in the next week, I wish everyone here a Wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!!! Buying a Rev and getting to know so many great people in the kiting community has been one of the major positives in my life this past year.

From what I heard panel layouts will remain unchanged.
For the JB, John mentioned in some thread, one color scheme will be dropped, I forget which, and will be replaced by teal/black.

Already done, TEAL took over for LIME a couple months ago.

Those limes are practically a limited edition now. ;)

Just waiting on pics of the teal from Rev, and I'll update the site.

Yes very patriotic Walt, but probably needs relatively more blue in it to echo the flag properly ....

It looks a bit too much in the direction of the union jack, which would be great for the British.
If you want more blue, change the 8 inner panels to blue, leaving the middle and outer panels with red and white stripes. I tried that but it is a bit too much blue for me.

The panel layout you have there would fall under 1.5 JB Pro not the 1.5 JB standard.
There is a lemon color used in one of the offered designs. You might be able to special order what you want.

Yellow & Green have been the sporting colours of Australia for many years.
Yellow for the Wattle flowers each spring and Green for the green foliage of the trees.

Now this a really stupid question: Is the inverted flight in Australia easier than on the northern side of the world???????????Posted Image

Boooo...

What a way to come back after an absence. :)

wb Manny!

In theory, an upright hover in Australia IS inverted, right?

Tis the same, because the winds are also inverted like the kite - canceling out the hemispherical differences. :kid_content:

Now, about the seasons... Christmas in summer is just darn silly. Have a good'un anyway.

Just been too busy with other things. Have a new dog which replaced the kites and the thinking of them. Had to fly to Germany for some pressing family matters. Never any wind to fly anything in Munich. Thought I could get some good pics of a Rev on top of the Olympic Tower. Tried every day. No :censored: luck. Just did not feel about fooling around on the forum.
I had a little unexpected income and am thinking of a Custom Zen. I've never really thoght about custom colors and it is actually quite difficult to make up your mind. I mean you can make up something and it will be made for you but if you think that you will pay some $500 for it and that you might not like it that much after all you really get to think again and again......
This topic is a really good way to get ideas and to see what you should or should not do. What would be nice to see is some advice from the makers what can be done for no extra money, what can be done for extra money and what can not be done unless you are Bill Gates, and he does not fly kites. Also very informative would be a color chart of readily available colors that don't cost an arm and a leg. It took me a lot of searching to find the pattern and this topic.
Perhaps all that in a new pinned post including a link to the free software and the patterns for the different kites. This would probably help Bazzer since I am probably not the first one to bug him for patterns, pricing and all that crap.

Last not least: Being a texting nerd: What is wb Manny? And yes, it is good to be back:lol:
