Hi Marc,

Talking of pictures, it just occured to me that it might be good to set about recording images of the kites that we will be flying for 'identification' purposes.

It would be good to have material available for the festival web site/s.

Taking this one slight step further on, please could all the teams and fliers think about providing details of personnel and the background/history of their activity in kiting. OK we have been asking for names so far! This is the next step... <grins>

Let me know your thoughts! (that is directed at all the participants!!!)

Thanks

Felix

It would be good to hear from Team Flic regarding your intentions. I hope very much that you would, in principle, be able to attend one or other of the events. The usual disclaimers apply.

I have attached the latest list and will remove previous copies.

Thanks to Stephen for added infomation and formatting.

Martijn,

Are you an 'individual' flier or part of Team Time Out?

Please be aware that inclusion on the 'list' does not imply that the Festival organisers can offer financial support.

Best wishes

Felix

Martijn,

I did not hear back from you.

Please let me know your situation.

Thanks

Felix

Okay, can somebody please stick me on the list for ground crew. I had a great weekend last year as ground crew with the Flying Squad and had already offered my services for this year. But it has been suggested that I post here to get onto the official list, so please put me down for both Portsmouth and Bristol.

Hi Bob,

It is with great pleasure that I can add your name to the (strictly unofficial) list of potential participants in the Portsmouth/Bristol Revolution events. (Field Director and Field Crew are 'participants', OK!)

I am sure that you will understand the usual disclaimers...

Will you be in Valencia or Berck?

Best wishes

Felix

PS Thanks again for your efforts re. Dunstable. FJM

Just thought we would pop in and echo the thoughts from Bristol - it is looking extremely good for Portsmouth!

If anyone has any questions about Portsmouth - logistics or otherwise then please get in touch. We hope to be able to help people who are coming in one way or another but it will ultimately depend on the number as budgets are not unlimited! Accommodation wise we are fortunate to have the University Halls of Residence within walking distance of the flying site so everyone should be able to be in the same place (if they want!).

We look forward to seeing many of you at Portsmouth (and the rest at Bristol as we will be there).

Jon and Gill Bloom

Hi Jon and Gill,

Please do let us know when you are able to discuss the details.

Thanks

Felix

Much as I would love to be, I don't think so. I don't think the finances will take the strain.

Understood!

We have just got our flights booked to Valencia!

Apart from The Flying Squad and Team Bolau is anyone else planning to be there.

16 will be a good number to start with anyway!

There'll be 3 or 4 flying Beasleys' at both Bristol and Portsmouth (at least a couple of rev. team fly standard). Willing to help out wherever needed.

There'll be a couple of us at Berck too FWIW.

OK Noted. (And thanks for getting back to me)

Please let us know your surname and any other information you feel able to provide about your revolution flying experience/capabilities.

The usual disclaimers apply! (Regarding the support of the festival organisers)

I am not in a position to comment on any teams/individuals capability of taking part in this project but from a practical point of view we will need some sort of peer approval. I would like to hear further comments on this.

Thanks

Felix

Lead the way Steve, I am sure that by the time the festival comes a heard of wild horses wouldn't keep Brian away! When else will they get the chance to meet the guys from Rev, not to mention fly with the best quad teams in the world, oh yes, and The Flying Squad. :kid_smartass:

I think after reading Stevies post he is as usual, underestimateing his own ability and being a little cautious, just incase he stitches us REVALATIONS, with a manual labour task, litter patrol, brewing up,or line testers.

As usual Mr Hoath,yr bang on.I cant wait.Imissed afew things in life that i now regret, but meating BOB again will be a delight :blue_wink: .
IM SURE YOU CAN COUNT ON MYSELF,Steve and Dave as usual to be ther and

UP FOR ANYTHING :sign_kitelife: :kid_smartass:

Have a good weekend people

Hi Steve,

As I said in a previous post as long as 'someone' can provide confirmation of flying ability I am sure that it will be possible to include individual fliers in the event 'in some way'.

In the meantime, if any individual is hoping to fly please could they make that clear. We have had a number of volunteers for ground crew as well.

Thanks

Felix
