That reminds me. My wife was in publishing and was helping to "translate" a British travel guide to American. She didn't notice a warning about a "sleeping policeman." She thought it really was about a policeman who was asleep. It was published that way here in the States.

My Revs need training too, do you think if I sent them up to you that some one could teach them some manners, unruly sods.
How about more than one day, one up north and one down south, Ainsdale is a bit of a hike from the South East.

I am not averse to more than one day other than finding the time. I will try and collate the interested parties and work out where you are all from etc. I supose a questionnaire is needed. ie, where are you, what can you do?, what do you want to achieve.

I'll give it some thought.

It does indeed look like a stunning location, with plenty of space.

I also have another REV friend interested, but again with the distance involved, he'd want to fly his power/traction kites as well.
Not sure what people think of that (?).

For me personally, I wonder if the magic will disappear if I learn too much about all the moves and stuff.
Part of the magic and wonder is the mystery, especially with team formation.

I don't believe you just wrote that Gary. Has anybody seen Mr Tyrell I think the real one has been abducted by aliens, we have an impostor in our midst. Mr Real Mr is usually on The Downs shouting orders at the rest of us. If he does not show tonight I will have to look elsewhere, maybe The Cross Keys. Two lemonades and a basket of chip please. :)

Ther Sport for all and Loadsa room,
Barbieing, sunbathing and loads of people just spending a typical British Sunday afternoon on the beech.A still room for,Horse riders, bikers ,Sailing,Twitchers,Joggers,Golfers,Fishermen,Footballers,Tennis, and dare i say it

Re: Is Stephen good...

Couple of pointers, One in the team, or any team when you fly only one person calls! So much as I would like to call sometimes, I don't.

Yes he is good, He was with the best choreographed teams I think I have ever seen (Skydance, I judged them at the UK Nationals, Euro Cup, Malayasia & World Cup) He know's how to build a routine. He has great field craft, so if you are thinking of competing or just want to look more professional in the arena, just watch and learn. Sometimes this doesn't came across to other flyers, but they should take notice very subtle but important.

He's been a judge so knows what they look for, very importantly.

He's patient & calm, good if you need to learn. Has no ego, has nothing to prove.

In addition I'm sure some of the other member of The Flying Squad will try and come to support the boss.

The time Monks and I spent with Stephen in France last year helped create the foundation for iQuad as we know it today. ;)
