My 'hope' for the weekend is to try team flying since I have never done it and it looks like fun! But linked to that I just would like to have pointers as to where I'm going wrong, and best things to try in order to improve (so nothing much then). I guess backwards flying - well more like precission-backward-flying-under-full- control-at-all-times - is something I need help with.

But really it will be nice to meet up with other Revolution fliers.

It would help a great deal if you all had an idea of 1 thing you would like to achieve during the day.  So far it looks like team flying is on the cards.

Im not particularly looking to learn anything new, just hoping to get some more flying experience, my revs havent been out the bag for 2-3 months .

I will only be able to make saturday as i have to do some work for uni on sunday.  Will be there as soon as the other half will drive me , hopefully about 9:00-9:30.

Check your house insurance policy it probably covers you for third party liability claims.

The entrance to the beach is 50m from where shore road meets coastal road in ainsdale.  Or if you are using a sat nav then just search for PR8 2PZ.

I KNOW ITS A NO BRAINER,BUT

Its been pritty cold early morning,Freezeing.So wear warm stuff,Hat,Gloves,Thermals and bring a Flask if ya can.Ther isnt much shelter at Ainsdale and wind chill is a factor.

Yep, my thermometer has been reading in the region of 2-4 degrees, first thing in the morning, ie about 8 am of late, so it is gonna be cold when then winds a blowing!

Nice one, and big thanks. I hope others feel how I do, we are all doing this to make some new rev friends and have a damn good laugh playing out, all together! I know Im lucky to have rev flyers local to me, but I know its a rare thing in the UK. Im simply made up to be able to make some new kite freinds and have the opportunity to learn something new. I would like to make a bet that I spend the vast majority of tomorrow, simply sitting on my deck chair watching, in awe!


BTW, im actually very shy, beleive it or not - treat me nicely chaps! Im a little scared of how good folk will be on the beach tom!

Weather.Dry,North Eaterly wind.A blustry 22mph at 7,30am.Flatened out for around 4hrs.Then blow between 16 and 25mph, 30mph at one point.So.nice realy and around 85c in the SHADE .

T'was an absolute pleasure Bri. Great to met meet you all - first of many, I hope. Well worth 9 hours driving and a hundred quid in petrol! Bizarrely, I'm not kidding! LOL (anyway Bri, it was only 4.1m miles - you do exagerate!
