Hi Dave, I am going down on Saturday but don't own a video camera. I'll try and shoot some footage on my cell but can't guarantee quality and there's no sound.

Even some pictures would be great...
Wish I could be there!

Perhaps rally someone there to video, on your behalf?

If Stephen is going looks like I'll have to go too, I have a DV camera so if I make it down I'll get some video.

Now - remember I'm rather new to all this before you all - as I suspect you will - start howling with rage.....
What's so good about these guys...?
Well, they were the worlds first quad team and have been at it for many many years so...Back in 95 when I first started flying, it was The Decorators that got me all worked up about quad team.
And ya gary, I think for the most part, they are split up but, they always seem to keep doing the bristol fest.

I was at Bristol to day and can tell you The Decorators put on a marvelous show - stunning in fact.
I videoed two of their performances on a Canon Ixus 950IS. Bearing in mind it was a dull day as far as video is concerned, never the less both are very watchable. The first, to some James Bond music and the second to some beating drum Indian music. The Decorators finished the performance with all the Revs forming a very realistic Wigwam. It was amazing! My memory card became full just as they finished!
I would be vey happy to send you or anyone a DVD. I could post it on YouTube but the YT compression is vey high and I am not sure how to get the very best out of YT in that respect.
Here is a picture of The Decorators to day at Bristol.

Still, the routine was as good as usual although I was hoping to see some new moves (so I can copy them
They were flying the custom Rev I's and they look great in the sky. It has started me thinking that the Rev 1 is still a good kite for team flying. mmmmm, maybe we'll get out the 1's
So if any of the Dec's are reading this, thanks again for the show and like many people here I only started flying Rev team 'cause of you (I owe you one)

Well I'm glad someone got some footage, I was way over at the far end of the single line arena when they flew and didn't get there in time.
Still, the routine was as good as usual although I was hoping to see some new moves (so I can copy them) but mostly they flew the usual routine.

Hi Stephen,
I found this forum last night. There is a tentative plan for Bristol Kite Festival to make Revolution Kites the theme of the festival in 2008. Given that some people might travel from far away places Portsmouth might be involved as well.
The Decorators formed in 1988 so 2008 has some significance!
We have not done much in the last 2 years. New moves come out of regular flying! I am sure we will be doing more next year. Glad you enjoyed the show. It was a bit blustery on Sunday!!!
