Hi Ian.
get yourself some p200 rod, just the job for a 1.5 rev, or rev 11.
the only problem for sparing a rev 1 in p200, is you will have to use 4 pieces instead o 3.
And cutting a spar will not weaken it , as some people wil have you belive.

Good to hear from you. Since Dunstable I have been rather poorly so not been able to put in any practice with your particular tip. But will have it off by the time we meet in the summer!

As for the spars, the original post was back when I was a complete novice and since then I have experimented with P200 and had some good results.

Just to let you know the trouble I was having with my Rev1 looking odd was os should I say is a slight split in the end, so will get another two then put a drop of araldite over the split and have a full 3wrap frame. thanks all for info.
