I finally bought my first Rev, and really he is a blink better than my, until now, beloved Kamikaze Butterfly. ;))

I ordered a Revolution Supersonic, and I got one, but he is complete Black, without the triangle shaped transparent parts on each wing.( as I ordered)

What typ of supersonic is that, a new or old design?

Thank you for answering, Greetz from Germany, aimage.jpg image.jpg

Hi Arvid -- welcome to the forum. You will always get help here from other flyers and also those who build the Revolution kites.

I have had 4 Supersonics, but this is the first time I have seen that sail pattern and color scheme (I like it!). Where did you buy it? If you purchased it from a Rev dealer it may be a custom pattern available only from that dealer, and they may have sold out of the previous pattern.

Let us know more information.

I am sure others on this forum will soon give you more info too.

mmh, yes maybee you´re right, but in the offerpictures of this shop, they showed the normal design. So I was a bit surprised about this different look.

It should be an original one, because the fine structure of the poles and the surface feel should be a problem to create an imitation. And most importent, he flies like hell... X)

He is bought from:

volango.de

For more Information I would be very thankful, maybee it is someone here, who sells RevKites too ?! Someone who can confirm, that this is an Original Supersonic...

It would be fairly new design, maybe 5 ish years current. The older designs were not dominant black. The also didn't have the Mylar window. Could be and intermediate between the two. But that would be just guessing.

I for one wanted one exactly like yours, all black with the Red accent. I even thought about painting the Mylar to achieve this. Good to know they are out there.

This is my older style Super. Just quietly, they're awesome on 50 foot lines...

Re:

Yes it looks very handsome, I was just wondering about the colors.

Oh 50 foot seems to be very short, i do always use 25m for my Quad kites.

Time too switch, maybee, someday... X)
