Hi

 

my first try at 5 stack on Monday

3 Bft    

85 x 150lbs lines

 

 

I did a 6 stack today but felt more comfortable with the 5 stack.

 

During the first attempt I used the standard 13" Rev handles.

 

Today I used the extended 15" versions handles which gave me more overall controle.

 

I fly with 6 stack lines.

I thought you might be Rob.

A very similar set of kite types.

 

I would love to stretch mine to 5 or 6.

I would put another VTD B at the front, and another STD and/or MID.

Maybe one day.....

More vented in your stack gives better controle.

Are there heavy duty handles for a 10 stack?

At one time Revolution made some longer handles(about 16-17") wrapped with carbon fiber exclusively for stacks. I had one pair but long since parted with it.

You might give Lolly a call and ask her about them.

There are some pics from Windstar Kites in PA, if you go to Rev's main site / find a store / go down to PA - Windstar Kites on pg 13. It's where I saw it. Did they have youtube back then? I didn't have a pc back then.

If I recall correctly the hot REVs in the front are from Lee. The cool Revs in the middle are from Lee's late wife Sue Taft. The Asymmetric REVs in the back are from Sam Ritter.. I do believe Sam is about twice as big as Lee. I wonder why Lee was flying them.

the 200# x 80' lines arrived. (found a laser pro supplier in the Netherlands)
