Well as I pack my bag for the "New Years Day" fly I have to smile cause it's been a great
year for me......
Plus I'm starting my year at home here at Mariners Point on the 1st
and in truth it's good to start my year at home........
So lets get this party started
and "Where's Ben", San Diego....... Ben

Hi Ben,
We'll not get to San Diego this time but hope to have a small fly on Blackheath on New Years Day. We have an event set for 12th and 13th January at Shipley Country Park near Nottingham which may be a 'super sixteen'.

Well got to bring the new year in at home with the "San Diego Kite Club" and what great fun it was, the weather
was great and as always the club is a great host.... Plus what was really cool is I got to spend some time
with one of "Ron Boharts" wonderful kites, so for me it was a heck of a way to start a new year....... Ben

We had a time we had at the San Diego New Years Day Fly. We flew nearly all day with Carol and Cass Pittman, and Tom King. John Mason, Dan Willan and Joe Hadzicki joined us for some of the time.
Then there was the pot luck lunch. Lots of very good food.
Thank you to the club for a great time.
