Wind was super light most of the weekend with constant direction changes on the first day. I worked my off to make sure there was something in the air to entertain the crowds. Aside from the fact that I enjoy that, I think it also showed off the Revolution capabilities given that there were many times there was little to nothing else that could fly. Someone even told me I had "mad skills" ... so I think I did okay.
I flew the Polo and Pro standards, my B2 stack and a short period of Polo mid vent to deal with some big fluctuations in wind. Most of the time I was on 35' line for my solo work, the stack was flown on 50' lines.
Here's one of my favourites...
After playing with her for a little while I flew the kite in close, dropped into a tip stand on the field side of the fence and then slowly tipped the rev in towards her. When I got real close, the little critter proceeds to lean forward with lips puckered and she kissed the leading edge .... *melts*
Bless her little socks, but that has got to be one of my favourite moments interacting with people.
