Hi, some news from the Netherlands. In just 2 weeks time we organize a Rev-Clinic in Emmeloord. A nice place far below sea level in one of the Dutch polders.

The town Emmeloord helds a try-out kite festival and the revolution pilots have been requested to participate. Of course we will demonstrate the skills of the Revolution in demo flying. To make it more attractive for the people we give also a Rev clinic. Aimed at people "always wanted to flya Rev" and pilots with some experience but ready for the next step. To make it color full a "Rev garden" will be built. Out the collection of the real dark side pilots almost all the types Revolution kites will be showed. From an old 1.5 SLE to the latest pro from Bazzer. No talking about, showing them to the public. It is also planned to make an announcement regarding team flying, aim is to set a standard for the whole Netherlands regarding the calls and the figures. Of course we are aware of the "Revolution Mega-Fly Figures" standard and this is also our starting point. And to keep the international connection the standard language used will be English. With this iniative we aim to create someday a mega fly in the Netherlands.

We keep you informed about the results of the clinic in text and pictures.

Greetings from the "Dutch Dark Side"

Hi all, it took some time but here is the promised update. The Emmeloord festival was for a new starting event a success for the organization, a few hundred of spectators were at present during the day and all sort of kites were in the air.

The revolution pilots organized a Rev-garden. We showed 20 + models and gave the public information about the kites. The demo team Air-4-ce gave demos, a rev 2 3-stack was in the air and the speaker gave clarification to the audience. The public was also invited to "try-a-rev". The pilots at present gave the people the opportunity to try a Rev. This was quite a success and the pilots had a lot of work with all people making their first flight ever with a rev.

We closed the day with the celebration of the new Dutch stack 4-lines champ Stephen Versteeg. Runner up this year Madquad, this promises a hot competition in 2013

To promote rev team flying we announced the creation of a small guide with the very basis calls for the starting team member. With great help and enthusiasm of Madquad/Marc, information on the internet and this forum we created the guide and published it today in the Netherlands. It is not a guide to replace the mega fly manuel, it is to help pilots on the road towards team flying. In Holland we will support the guide with team fly introduction clinics in the coming winter period.

If you want to take a look here is the link http://vliegerwereld.nl/jst4fn.pdf The standard is in Dutch, we have decided to use English for the calls to keep the connection with the international kite community. Just look and you will have quite a feel what has been created.

I have contacted in the mean time Mike Kory, the great writer of the Mega fly manuel and came to the decision to make an English translation for benefit of the kite community. We keep you posted.
