Recently I have seen two different 1.5 spars, one has a gold sticker on them and the other has a silver sticker with 3 feathers on them,is there a difference in the two and if so which is the one for me?

A rod with the gold label saying "Ultralight" is the same as the silver label rod with 3 feathers which I think also says "Ultralight"
Now going back about 10-15 years, there was a physical change to the rods. The weight and flex stayed about the same.

About two or so years ago, Revolution changed the labels on the rods. The rods themselves remained unchanged.

Always wanted to ask this question... and here's my chance...
If the past Ultra-light rods are 3-wrap, what were the past 2-wraps? ...(Extra-ultralight?)

For the gold label "For Professional Use Only"
For the silver label "Professional Use"
Now if you all will take a look at: http://johnnmitchell...story/rods.html , you will find quite a bit more information on the rods, though not everything.
