Asbury Park - Come fly with us! []

Dennis went to this festival last year and had a BLAST! If you live in the area please come out and fly with us! We will have show kites, single line sport kites REV's, fighters and your kites! []

Saturday and Sunday, August 4 and 5;
Festival hours are from 11:00am - 6:00pm (any of you who would like to be there a bit earlier to assist in set up would be very much appreciated - Angelo and Beatrix will probably be there around 8:00 am)

We are in the same location which is on the beach at the intersection of Ocean Ave between 3rd & 4th Ave.;

There will be another event happening the same days as ours though I don't have any info on what that is at the moment.

If you have bols, if you could kindly bring them for a potential running of the bols, that would be great - there will be no kids kite making, etc., just kite flying!

If you who would like to join in breaking bread together on Sat evening, we'd love to have you come along! There's a couple of great local restaurants near the motel (I used to live in the same town the motel is in) that we can go to and are perfect for our type of crowd - potentially rowdy!;

Wait, you're going there without me?! Ihateyouforlife. I can't believe you would go there without me. You didn't tell me you were going there without me.

EVERYBODY: If you see Gaiiden at the fest on Saturday, be sure to ask him where Ang is. And make that sad face when he tells you I'm not there with him. If you don't know who Gaiiden is, he'll be wearing a black hat (well it's almost grey because it's so old) and it'll be backwards and it will have a red G on it. He'll be flying a yellow B-series Rev. Make sure you say something to him. Oh, and I'll see you all on Sunday. I'll be sporting a braided pony-tail and a visor and fly a blue b-series rev. Come say hi :-)

I just got some new sticks for my REV. I can't wait to fly it!!

I'll be working this whole weekend, so don't seem so left out there ant, i know how ya feel, half broke and over worked here, i'm still trying to find a way to get some race rods.

Great times at the fest this weekend. All who couldn't make it, you really missed out. We'll be posting pictures, but not until next week because I don't have time to download them. Hopefully you all got some good flyin' in this weekend.
