Hey Rev people, I have some photos to share of me and AdventureAng at the NJSKC up at Liberty Park on Saturday. We weren't able to make it on Sunday so here are some pics from Saturday.

I'm a tip-standing fool! Ms. Liberty was a little difficult - I got close tho 
Managed some one-handed flying for the first time ever too.

gaiiden great shots man i tried to get there but i couldnt as i was swamped with work and family plans this weekend .. i really wanted to get out there to try out that kite im glad it flies.. that tells me your are with a successful kitemaker man you are LUCKY !!!! well we will ge together soon i hope best of luck with your own custom ang masterpiece

It realy looks good in the air. You are so lucky to have such have a shared interest.
My wife is happy for me to fly and will wait for me for hours but is not interested in flying at all. I do appreciate that she encourages me.
So Gaiden, how is the kite without the leading edge mesh, do you find any flying difference? Actually it is probable that the kite flys differently from a "factory" Rev anyway so it might be difficult to judge. Just wondered if you felt anything about the mesh??

Yup, I finally figured it out, just by experimenting. It's prob a bit different for everyone but I managed to get a grip that was good for me. I could spin the kite, take off and land - still need to work on hovering upside down and tip standing tho. Oh, and practicing with my left hand too so I can fly two kites at once, mwahahah...and look at YOU...one handed flying...
There was talk at the 'fest from people about the lack of leading edge mesh. It definetly made the kite feel heaveir, but that's also due to teh fact that the fabric isn't as light as the stock Revs either. So while it wasn't twitchy responsive, it still handled well and the guys at the 'fest who were better than me were putting it through its paces with no problems. In fact it was kinda hard to get them to give it back - hahahahaSo Gaiden, how is the kite without the leading edge mesh, do you find any flying difference? Wow! In all the hundreds of times I've pictures of the Statue of Liberty, I've never seen it from land before (or at least, not from there). How amazing does it look???? Fantastic.

Yeah, this was a really fun day; perfect wind, perfect temperature, perfect kites, and perfect company; you couldn't ask for much more. If any of you are there again one of these days, let me know because I'd love to fly there again.
