Well after a weekend of photos and just having fun I thought I'd bring another one to the table
for you...Posted Image This one is by Amy Doran who besides being "Connors Mom" and "Charlie" is in
herself one of the up and coming designer and kite maker in the world..... Amy calls this one
"SkEyes" and with it having the feathers that attach to the ends I just had to fly it (sorry Amy)
and it flew smooth and made a very, very, nice sky statement..... So here it is "SkEyes" by one
of the best ladies of kiting and my dear friend, Amy Doran..... BenPosted ImagePosted ImagePosted Image

Very nice work Amy! A lovely addition to your already impressive array of kites. Guess staying home for a few extra weekends this summer worked out for the best! :)

Bri

P.S. I love the feathers!

I think the "Like" button is in your wallet . . ;-)

Truly awesome stuff the builders are bringing to the contest! Amazing, all of them! Hard to say which is my favorite so far.

After seeing every one so far I'd have to say I want at least one of each. (I can feel my wallet's hands inching toward my throat.)

I really like the SkEyes kite! I'm also diggin the feathers... I'd like a pair of them to match my 'Pros....

Ron's kite is also amazing - I love the bird theme and the colors are intense.
How about calling it "Westward Migration"? Or how about naming it "What The Flock" ;)

I guess I should start thinking about either making my own photos of all of these or bumming them from Ben to place in the Revolution Historical Web Site.

Any idea if these will make an appearance at WSIKF? It might enhance the bidding when people see them in person, as well as get non forum members in on the fun.... ;-)
