We have a few sets available for the raffle at the West Coast Rev Clinic this weekend. I will also have a set that anyone is welcome to try out. I haven't tried them yet myself, but this weekend will be a good chance to see how they do.

Skypuppet, we'll have a bunch of these here for you to check out. I may be able to do something for your Rev1, let me know. I also have a special goodie that will be here for our local bunch to look at. :)

I had some time on these rods today. I ran them in a fullvent b. Heres my opinion thus far. The rods feel a bit lighter than 3 wraps. They are more flexible than 3 wrap, and stiffer than race rods. The nice thing is that the bounce back into place in a fashion similar to race rods.

So in a phrase, they are like a 3 wrap race rod. my only gripe is how light they are. I like having a bit of weight to throw around.

Bear in mind I have only spent time with them in full vent in appropriate wind. I do have plans to try them in a mid vent and a full sail.

What you have described sounds strikingly simmiliar to the Green Race frame.

That is what I was thinking!

The difference is in the way they flex. The green rods are slightly absorbant or squishy. The SPLs have more of a tendancy to snap back into position. I think they feel more like race rods than the greens do.

Testing on my full sail today in light wind. I will be writing a full review on Kitelife and i will post a link here once it is up.

It's not the size of your Rev.. its how you use it.
