UPDATE: ALL TICKETS SOLD!

Hey gang,

I've just returned from our first Red Bull show in Switzerland, and have come home with a very special raffle item just for those of you on the Rev forum...

We're selling these raffle tickets for a brand new (unflown) CUSTOM Barresi Signature Series 1.5, vented model... This kite comes with a standard 4 wrap frame. It is exactly the same colors and kind of kite we used at the Red Bull show this past weekend in Switzerland, as well as the next three shows in London, San Diego and Perth, with a white center panel instead of black.

Click here for info about the Red Bull kite show

Additionally, this kite also has signatures from all 10 members of the Red Bull kite team who were in Switzerland... Carl Robertshaw, Richard Debray, Ramlal Tien, Pierre Fabre, Chris Goff, Mathieu Mayet, Gregory Raynes, Lam Hoac, Yasu Numata and myself, 10 of the top pilots and kite makers found anywhere in the world... Between these pilots, they've probably accumulated more world team and individual national championships than any other group ever assembled, and those of them that are kite makers have produced some of the finest flying creations found anywhere in the world.

Due to the nature of this prize, it is kite only... No extra frames or any of the factory stuff you get with a normal B-Series, this is a kite that can really stand on it's own merit, and will assuredly be one of the finest additions you'll ever make to your collection.

You will NEVER see another Rev in these colors, or with all these signatures, truly a one of a kind catch for whoever wins this... I'll also be happy to produce a signed certificate to go with it, verifying it's origins and significance.

IMG_8599.JPG IMG_8600.JPG IMG_8601.JPG IMG_8602.JPG

=================================

Terms of the raffle:

We must sell a minimum of 85 tickets total to reach our goal, at $15 each or three for $40, otherwise we reserve the right to refund everyone's PayPal and try to recoup the costs elsewhere.

We will sell a maximum of 125 tickets... The more you buy out of those 125, the better your chances!

I'll pay shipping for a winner in the US, a foreign winner would need to cover any shipping costs over $15 USD.

The winner will also receive a one-year subscription to Kitelife, or a free renewal, if they're already a subscriber.

We will use the same drawing process used in our last raffle, found here.

The drawing will be made at random on August 25th, provided we reach the minimum number of tickets by then, or sooner if the maximum number of tickets are sold.

Let the excitement begin! ;)

A few images for your enjoyment... ;)

Very nice! Reminds me of times past.

I notice that there is a difference between the kites you flew in Switzerland and the raffle Rev.
The center panel is black versus white.

True, per the raffle description. ;)

Since Revolution is not a full paying (i.e. thousands and thousands of dollars) sponsor of the actual Red Bull Air Races, the logo could not be prominently displayed... A small concession, in order to be able to fly Revolutions in the show.

As I understand it, the team kites used during in the shows remain the property of the promotional company contracted by Red Bull... This way, if we're fortunate enough to do the races next year, the "kite performers" team has everything they need.

FYI, 11 tickets sold!

I can only buy one. I still want to have enough money to buy a used B at WSIKF from Ben and Lolly this year. (I don't really have a bunch of money.)

FYI. The name Monika Hawkinson is me. It's my mom's credit card (I don't have one)

That could make it more valuable because it is the one and only, were there are a number of the ones that are black in the center.

Very true John, hadn't considered that!

Indeed, this is a totally one of a kind Rev... Similar to the 12 kites made for Red Bull, but still distinct being the only one with a white center panel.
