Connor will be speaking and flying that night to support S.U.D.E.P. Awareness and Epilepsy Awareness. SUDEP (Sudden Death in Epilepsy Patients) is a condition that they are discovering is much more common then originally thought.
Chelsea Hutchison was only 16 when her life was taken by a seizure that occurred while she was sleeping. Even though Connor was diagnosed with epilepsy when he was 4 years old, I have just recently been made aware of this condition. The Chelsea Hutchison foundation helps provide seizure alert dogs, and sleep monitors for children and adults with epilepsy. Chelsea's family started the foundation after the loss of their daughter to help others become more aware of the condition. Chelsea had been seizure free for a while when this happened.
We are pleased to be a part of this fundraising event, and are honored that the Revolution family is joining forces.
