Notes:
1. The colorizer is Flash-based, so it won't work on iPhone or iPad.
2. We'll be changing the background on colorizer, agreed.
3. I checked both the Robertshaw and Poulter masterpiece pages, both seem to be working okay?
4. Historical Rev, would love to add it... Just need to confirm with Lolly and Ben where it should go.
5. "Find a Store" buttons on product pages should be working alright now.
Still tinkering based on feedback, which is always welcome.

Item 1, Could it be reworked with Adobe Edge Preview 4? It uses HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript and will probably replace Flash in the not so far future.Hi all, thanks for the feedback - ALL appreciated.

Part of the issue with a colorizer on iPhone or iPad also pertains the functionality of a colorizer by it's very nature... It'd a bear to try and fill in tiny little panels (especially on the Xtra Vent) through the iScreens.
Coupled with the actual click process of any iScreen, it makes it impractical to shift away from Flash for the moment.
As more colorizers are developed through other platforms (such as the one you mentioned), we can re-explore it.

I think the home page is too busy though. It looks cluttered, partly because of the busy look of the "Our Products" photo and the "Find a Store Photo". The teal background of the colorizer photo is an old school color and doesn't blend with the rest of the page, adding to the cluttered look, imho.
I would disagree with a lot of this. I don't find the page to be too busy. I don't think that the amount of content on the front page is limiting its usability. But I would agree about the two photos, and that less cluttered photos would be a better choice, but I don't see it as a large problem.
I think the main page should focus on selling and describing the product. Showing what a cool and exciting thing a Rev is. Right now, someone coming to the page is overwhelmed and doesn't know where to look first.
I don't see the problem here. When I load the page, the first thing my eye goes to is the "Our Products" link. Seems like a very obvious and helpful link for someone new to Revs looking for info.
Maybe a separate page about buying the kite which would have the info on spars, the colorizer, and where to buy.
I would hate to see this info pushed back to another page. One of the things that I was most happy about when seeing the new site was a link to the colorizer on the front page. On the previous site, it was a pain to remember how to navigate my way back to it, and now it's in plain sight.
If content was to be removed from the main page, I think it would quickly become too barren. It would become more like a splash page than anything, forcing you to go from there to the info that you are looking for. I feel like it would become like folders within folders making it difficult to find what you want.

Getting a "404" error when I click on the "Find a Store" link from some product pages. It was working for awhile! Maybe its just for the B-Pro standard, I tried it on the SLE product page and it works.
Now, the good stuff!
Everything seems to load faster on the new design.... I like the way its laid out, for sure, its so much brighter than before! The pictures are more useful, and the persistent navigation pane is MUCH better than the old drop-down boxes.... Its superbly organized!
Please, add a "timer" to the Colorizer page so I know to stop playing with it after an hour or so

You could put it with the masterpieces, but it really is not quite the same class because it is a print.
Probably the best fitting place is with the anniversary Rev and rename the tab from "20th Anniversary Rev" to "Anniversary Rev".

John, send me the best images you have for the Printed Anniversary kite... A good photo, and the static art if you can.
Also, a little write up about the imagery?

Ahh, but the product pages still don't tell you what a Rev *is*. It's for those already converted to the dark side and wanting to buy.I don't see the problem here. When I load the page, the first thing my eye goes to is the "Our Products" link. Seems like a very obvious and helpful link for someone new to Revs looking for info.
I would guess that most of the Revs sold aren't custom colors. The colorizer link should be repeated on every page that has a customizable kite. That would be easy to find.I would hate to see this info pushed back to another page. One of the things that I was most happy about when seeing the new site was a link to the colorizer on the front page. On the previous site, it was a pain to remember how to navigate my way back to it, and now it's in plain sight.
A fair point. However, a splash page is what they used to have, just a logo to click on. What I'm proposing is to have more selling on the first page.If content was to be removed from the main page, I think it would quickly become too barren. It would become more like a splash page than anything, forcing you to go from there to the info that you are looking for. I feel like it would become like folders within folders making it difficult to find what you want.
There can still be links there, but they don't have to be as prominent, i.e. big photos. That takes away from any focus of the first page, which I think should be promotion and explanation of what the product is. I'm looking at the first page as way to keep first-timers involved with the site and wanting to see more.
Just a countering opinion
