That could work for me. I'll be flying back in the night before.

****Hi Jose...

That's awesome! Any chance that you can attend TI (Treasure Island Kite Festival) a couple weeks later? That would be awesome... if you could. If not, see you at LSP.

****Hi Andrew...

That would be great. It's a tradition done around the world, from what I understand ;) .

****Hi Jim and Lynn...

I will look for your kites over Lady Liberty!!! Posted Image

Perhaps, some day, you'll make it east.

Happy New Year, and a healthy one with lots of flying, too.

xoxo

I definitely intend a run up to LSP sometime during the New Year Weekend. I have Friday through Monday as options, based on weather. I assume traffic might be rough on Saturday due to Times Square activities, but Sunday sounds good at this point.

What a fantastic day... Started off very light (Zens up)
Things picked up (Full Sail)
and more Mids, Full Vents & Mesh.
That has been some of the smoothest winds ever at LSP.

Thanks to everyone who came out to play today. Wayne, Barb, MJ, Smitty, Rich, Andrew, Sammy, AL,.....
Who is missing?......Hmmmmmmmm???

A great start to hopefully a great year:)B)

Hello and Happy New Year...

I soooo wish I was there. I'm very disappointed for missing a great day and not seeing everyone for a great start to the New Year. Posted Image
We'll just have to have another fly.

My wish for you all is a happy and healthy year ahead, with lots of good wind.

xoxo to you all.

I have to agree with Steve - a perfect way to start the new year! Laminar breezes, unseasonally warm weather, good friends, and Rev kites. Even the NJ Turnpike was smooth. A special thank-you to the efforts of Rich and Smitty for leading (with great Rev skills comes great responsibilityPosted Image ) making the team flying educational and great fun. Barb & I hung around to get some night views and pics of the skyline (I like cities - occasionally and from a distance). I will have to plan on doing this again next year.

A truly great day.
